THE CHALLENGE

As one of a small founding team, Guilds needed a mobile gaming crypto wallet delivered across native mobile and a companion web app from a single source of truth, backed by reliable APIs and data, while working closely with the CTO, backend engineer and designer to keep product and engineering decisions aligned.

THE APPROACH

Designed a reusable React Native component library shared between the mobile app and a React Native Web companion build, styled with Styled Components for consistent theming across platforms. Developed and updated Python/FastAPI REST services for CRUD workflows and third-party integrations, and worked directly with PostgreSQL using SQL and pgAdmin to validate application state and troubleshoot API and data issues across the mobile clients and backend.

THE OUTCOME

Delivered features across mobile, web and backend from early development through hands-on client testing and the product's first launch.
